The Ultimate Ozzy Osbourne Experience
October 11, 2017
We are proud to announce the debut of what some have called “The Ultimate Tribute To Ozzy” – The Land Of Ozz! February 21, 2015 the Philadelphia, PA based Ozzy Osbourne tribute band The Land Of Ozz will make their debut at The Sands Bethlehem Event Center. With more than 30 years of combined musical talent, the musicians of The Land Of Ozz bring top-notch talent to what will certainly come to be known as “The Ultimate Ozzy Osbourne Experience”
The Land Of Ozz is the closest thing to Ozzy Osbourne in his prime years that you will see and hear anywhere in the world, period! Listen to the band’s demo recording and hear it for yourself! At the center of The Land of Ozz is Stephen Desko, and his amazing ability to recreate the look and sound of Ozzy! The founding member of The Ozzman Cometh, he will make you think you are hearing and seeing Ozzy live in the 80’s and 90’s! His vocal range, tone and appearance is so close to Ozzy, it really is incredible. Sit back and and enjoy the ride with the The Land of Ozz’s (Diary Of A) Madman at the wheel.
Everyone knows that Ozzy is famous for collaborating with some of the worlds greatest guitarists. To create an accurate and worthwhile tribute to Ozzy, a world class Lead Guitarist is required. Enter 16 year old Guitar prodigy, Matt Stanley! Yes, just 16 years old! Matt recreates the exact note for note leads and guitar sounds that are such a huge part of Ozzy’s songs with the same feel and technique as Randy Rhoads, Jake E. Lee, and Zakk Wylde. If you’re a guitarist or just a fan, you won’t be let down! This kid delivers the riffs and leads exactly as they were recorded. It is truly scary! The Land Of Ozz show focuses on the classic Randy Rhoads era of the Blizzard Of Ozz and Diary Of A Madman albums as well as some gems from the later Ozzy periods and even a Sabbath tune or 2 as well.
The Land Of Ozz backing band includes seasoned players from the Philadelphia area including ex-original founding member of world renowned Led Zeppelin tribute Get The Led Out and local legends Hit The Ground Runnin’, as well as Pop Goes The 70’s, Paul Piccari on Bass, Ex-Funhouse member Mike Stanley on Rhythm Guitar, from tribute bands Substitute (The Who), Lovin’ Touchin’ Squeezin’ (Journey), Like Totally 80’s and Pop Goes the 70’s, Tommy “Stewart” Staszewski on Drums, and from Like Totally 80’s and Pop Goes The 70’s, Mike “Viv” Vivial on Keyboards.
